The Legal Working Group (PLWG) provides essential legal and regulatory guidance to the PUSH Executive Committee and all participating working groups. Its mission is to ensure that every project within the PUSH Platform operates under a sound legal structure that supports collaboration, compliance, and the secure exchange of data and materials among global research partners.

By developing a unified framework of agreements, documentation, and governance standards, the group enables the PUSH community to advance its work efficiently, ethically, and in full alignment with applicable laws and institutional policies.

Our Objectives
The PLWG is focused on designing and implementing an optimized legal and contractual framework for the PUSH Platform. The team advises on compliance for all approved projects, drafts key legal agreements, and supports the creation of standardized documentation to streamline future studies.

Our Core Initiatives

• Finalize the contractual and legal structure of the PUSH project, including the coordinator’s role, by Q1 2026.


• Draft and execute the PUSH Consortium Agreement and framework agreements for multiple project types.


• Develop standardized templates for material transfer, data transfer, and onboarding documentation.


• Provide ongoing legal support and compliance guidance for PUSH projects and working groups.
